Khosa and Mukhtar to meet President today

President Asif Ali Zardari will meet party management such as Federal Minister Ahmad Mukhtar and Senator Latif Khosa today (Saturday) in Karachi as the search for new Governor Punjab continues.

The consultation among the ruling party leaders is underway for the appointment of new Governor Punjab after the assassination of Salman Taseer.

Political analysts say that Saturday’s meeting at Bilawal House bear importance in this regard as Senator Khosa is said to be the most probable candidate for the governorship.

Meanwhile, President Zardari would also meet Sindh Bank board and Governor State Bank Shahid Kardar.
