Yemeni troops shoot dead four protesters

Yemeni troops are reported to have shot dead four protesters this morning during a demonstration against the rule of President Ali Abdullah Saleh.
The march by tens of thousands of pro-democracy demonstrators came despite the deaths of at least 12 people in a similar protest in the capital, Sanaa, yesterday.

The protesters, who have been camped out in Sanaa's Change Square, were trying to march to an area near the presidential palace, when the security forces intervened.
