PML-N to rid Sindh of ‘Daku Raj’: Nawaz

SHAHDADPUR - PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif said on Tuesday that his party would rid the people of Sindh from ‘Daku Raj’ and people of the country from the corrupt government.
Addressing a hug gathering of flood affectees of Interior Sindh in Shahdadpur, the PML-N chief said he wanted Sindhis to support PML-N in its struggle to build a new Pakistan.
He said flood affectees were spending miserable and helpless lives at the camps and their houses and fertile lands had been destroyed by the flood waters. He asked the government to provide Rs 100,000 as compensation to the each flood affected family.

He said since 1947, the Interior Sindh was ignored and its people had some reservations. He promised to address people’s all grievances after coming into power again.
He demanded of the government that elements involved in creating unrest in Karachi should be brought to justice and given stern punishment.
“Had Nawaz Sharif’s government not taken over by a military dictator, Interior Sindh would have been prosperous now,” he said adding, that lands to farmers would have been provided if he were in power.
The PML-N leader said that the Punjab government had sent truckloads of daily-use items worth Rs55 billion to Interior Sindh as a sign of brotherhood. He said people of Sindh lived in his heart and he wanted to see them successful and prosperous. Nawaz said he wanted to eliminate disparities among the people of the country.
He vowed to distribute land to poor farmers as he did in his last tenure. He reminded that dacoits were flushed out from the province when he was working as the prime minister.
He said he wanted to build a new Pakistan and appealed the people to stand by him to end the ‘Dacoit-Raj’ from the country.
He said he wanted to see a corruption free, prosperous and a peaceful Pakistan where people would lead their life freely and comfortably.
Former prime minister said he wanted to see crime-free Sindh and people of the province should be given their rights.
He said responsible for Karachi unrest must be brought to justice and demanded of the government to end the power and gas crisis that were multiplying miseries of the common people.
