Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh on Tuesday hit back at Mazhar Majeed, the Pakistani cricketers' agent at the heart of the spot-fixing scandal, claim of having access to them.

Talking to Headlines Today in the wake of Majeed's claim, Harbhajan said: "I don't know anyone by the name of Majeed. I cannot comment on allegations made by any random person."

"That is purely fake and false... I never met him, nor I know him. I will take necessary action in consultation with the BCCI about legal action against the said bookie," the spinner added.

Reacting to Majeed's charge on micro-blogging site Twitter, Yuvraj said, "The problem in India is if some one says a rooster has given an egg it will become news!! Whether its (it's) true or not its (sic) doesn't matter."

"And who is majid!! absolute rubbish! Don't no never met!" he added.

Majeed had claimed that he had several Pakistan players under his control, including Salman Butt, brothers Kamran and Umar Akmal and Shoaib Malik and had access to other international cricketers, including Chris Gayle, Brett Lee, Ricky Ponting, Harbhajan and Yuvraj.
